Stylish Steals

Stylish Steals
1. This Forever 21 sandal is so feminine and chic looking. I recently saw someone wearing this and it looks more tan than the peach color portrayed online. It looks like it is a shoe from Zara and I love the gold heel detail. I love the heeled sandal trend that has been popping up everywhere and this shoe is right up my alley. It can easily be dressed up or down (there is also a black color online). And, for only $22.80, that's a steal!

2. I was so tempted to purchase this Romwe Daisy Dress but I knew I could not spend any more money so I will share this to die for dress with you all. I recently reblogged a fashion blogger wearing a very similar daisy print dress on my tumblr (here) and I was in love. This Romwe dress is a good alternative and comes in 2 other colors as well. This dress can go with a denim jacket and flats and easily transition to night with heels/wedges and a blazer. What beats that?

3. These Target Sandals are so perfect. I personally don't really wear sandals all too much (I'm more of a flats girl) but I love how these sandals look. The glittery strap makes it such a statement piece. I've seen a ton of people on Instagram purcahse these and only have had good things to say about them. This also comes in 2 other colors so go check it out! My covered up toes will be very jealous of those of you who can pull off the sandals look.

4. I love strutting out in some simple tees and this Uniqlo Tee is the edgy cousin of the simple white tee.  I love the whole batting eyelash design that's going on. It reminds me of the Marc Jacobs designs but for a fraction of the price! Check out the whole Lulu Guinness collection at Uniqlo here

5. This Asos Cat Watch is so quirky and cute. I like the mixing of leopard print and the cat ears on the actual watch. (It also comes in just a plain black strap for you not-so-dare-devils). I'm still learning how to do the whole "arm candy" business because my wrist virtually fits nothing because it's so darn tiny. But for now, watches will do. I always love a good watch because it is such a minimal, but trendy accessory.

6. I absolutely love this Target Polka Dot Clutch! Not only does it have polka dots on it, but also the color is so bright and fun and will definitely add a pop of color to your outfit. It can fit an iPad mini, your make up necessities, wallet, sunglasses, or anything you carry around in your purse. It's so useful and adorable.

LFstore Warehouse Sale

Recently, I had the pleasure of tagging along with my good friend Kathy Paek to a "Friends & Family" LFstore Warehouse Sale. (You can check them out here). It was basically designer pieces that sold for originally $100+ for less than $20! We snagged up a couple of pieces and these were our favorite finds.
For me, I loved the print of my geometric shorts. They are a bit crazy, but that's what makes them all the more lovable. The color reminded me of a kiwi, which reminds me of summer. (Yes, my logic makes sense). So, these were the perfect shorts to pick up for the summer! They are very breezy and light which makes it comfortable to slip on. For Kathy, she was lucky enough to pick up this super adorable pineapple print skirt. I was so jealous of her because all I wanted was a pineapple-print-anything because I knew the Lfstore had cute pineapple prints when I visited their website. But, of course, they wouldn't have my size. It's such a cute skirt and a great casual piece. There are still a couple of pineapple print clothing items featured in their lookbook online so Kathy definitely got a steal! I had a lot of fun at my first warehouse sale and I'm glad I got to experience the madness of a warehouse sale with the lovely Kathy. Hope you enjoyed our finds!

Arrowhead Pants

I sure do love me some soft, silky pants! These types of pants are so comfortable to slip into and look so chic. I literally feel like I'm wearing my pajamas whenever I wear these bad boys out. It's perfect to wear to work, dinner with friends, or running errands. As you probably know, I'm a big fan of wearing prints– especially on pants. I loved this arrowhead print when I first saw it. It reminds me of something tribal but in a toned down way. I can't tell you how much I adore these pants. The fact that they are comfortable is the winning factor. When I go out, it makes it look like I spent a lot of time planning my outfit when all I did was grab this printed pant and add a sweater or top. It's wonderful– a lifesaver, really. I just think of them as classy pajamas. It's perfect!

Polka Dots & Sequins

Today I played with polka dots, sequins, stripes, and lace! That's a mouthful, isn't it? Nevertheless, I really like mixing polka dots and stripes for some reason and I think it works for this outfit. Everything seems to fall together casually and it has a more feminine feel because of the shorts. Before you judge me on the fact that I own the black and white version of this ankle flat, this flat (with the gold almost snake skin like design) was the pair that first started my love for ankle strap flats. I absolutely love these flats and they are probably my all-time favorite flats. I just had to have the other one, ya know? I also love this polka dot blazer because it's simple yet fun. I'm pretty sure I have a polka dot print on every type of clothing. You name it, I probably have it. Comfy & casual outfits are my favorite kinds of outfits to strut out and about in and this outfit definitely falls in that category. Hope you have a fantastic  weekend!

Sophia & Audrey

OUR FAVORITE THRIFT FINDS
My close friend Audrey & I went thrifting and unexpectedly found some real great steals! We picked our 3 most favorite pieces and styled them. Hope you guys enjoy our one of a kind finds!
For me, I thrifted this awesome newspaper and daisy print collared shirt. I know at first it looks obnoxiously tacky, but I dig that. I've never seen anything like it and I knew once I saw it that it needed to be mine, mine, and only mine. It's the perfect summer shirt paired with some shorts!
For Audrey, she has been hunting for a utility type jacket and when she saw this olive colored suede shirt, she knew it was a close substitute. It could be worn with printed shirts, dresses, and skirts or with a simple solid colored top and shorts, which was the case here. Although she desperately wants to add pockets to it, she is still very happy with her purchase.
Presenting: Audrey the purse model!
This daisy turtleneck dress totally caught me off guard hanging on the rack and would be something completely out of my comfort zone. However, it turned out to be my favorite thrift find of the day. I love how this dress looks so timeless and classy. I've also lately been obsessed with daisy print on anything and so this dress was the perfect find for me.
For Audrey, she thrifted a men's shirt and rolled up the sleeves so it would look like a woman's blouse. It's a very cute brown floral printed blouse and looks rather dashing with some high-waisted shorts. I also thrifted this bag with the buckle and I just love the chocolate brown color of it. It reminds me of a mix of equestrian and satchel style. But maybe that's just me and my crazy mind.
Friendship :' )
If you didn't know, my hands are almost always sweaty for no good reason. They are just naturally clammy, and for the most part, nobody likes clammy hands. With this being said, a true friend is someone who will hold my clammy hands and accept them. (Even though she still teases me about it occasionally, I know she appreciates my sweaty hands). Lub ya!

First off, what's not to love about the dress I have on? It has a sort of retro, pop-art type of flower print all over and it's just the epitome of how a retro floral dress should look like. I paired it with a denim jacket Audrey thrifted and it sort of just gives off an old school vibe. I love all the colors of the flowers and had to add some more color with my bright orange belt.
I actually found this dress for Audrey and when I saw it on the rack, I knew Audrey would totally pull it off. The bright orange is so fun and colorful and it is the perfect summer dress. I can imagine lounging on a lawn chair while eating a popsicle and chillin' in this cute neon orange dress. Yes, I know you were thinking that too.
